Around the World in Eighty Days

The Classis Novel By Jules Verne

Around the World in Eighty Days describes the extraordinary and daring travels of an English gentleman named Phileas Fogg and his French valet Passepartout, who in order to win a wager of 20,000 pounds with Fogg's fellow members at the exclusive Reform Club, attempt to circumnavigate the globe within eighty days.

In 1872, the pair leave London, England and travel across continents and oceans on trains, steamers, an elephant and anything they can lay their hands on, pursued by Detective Fix, who believes Fogg to be a bank robber and causes the group a lot of trouble and delays throughout their journey.

Storms at sea, unfinished railroad tracks, a Sioux attack in the American West and many more obstacles threaten to hamper the success of the expedition.

Will Phileas Fogg and Passepartout make it back to London within the 80 days?

Share the thrills and adventures of Phileas Fogg and his trusty companion in Around The World In Eighty Days.
